30 Aprili 2012
Dear Jenifer,
We hope this mail finds you well.
We are currently working with Dulux Paints Tanzania on a project called ‘Let’s Color’. This is a worldwide campaign meant to revitalize the community and lift the spirits of the local community by adding color to their lives. It is a global movement which called communities around the world to paint grey public spaces with bright colors. Let’s Color program is committed to make a positive difference in people’s lives globally as well as locally. As part of this initiative, Let’s Color has already created better living environment for many people around the world. The paint project uses bright colors to transform neighborhoods.
Hence for Tanzania we would like to launch the ‘Let’s Color’ project which is expected to take place in May 2012.
Hence we have identified a community site as one of the project icons where we are willing to repaint the outside wall structures with different and bright Dulux paints colors free of charge. The walls will be painted with lively colors to bring a smile to the faces of the residents. The paint and brushes will be supplied by Dulux, free of charge. Dulux painters will also prepare the surface walls for painting. The main element of this project is to get the community involved in the painting and hence along with the residents of the site selected, we would also like to invite you to participate in the ‘Let’s Color’ project.
Seeing that you are one of the well known personalities within the community, your presence at the ‘Let’s Color’ painting site will influence other people to also get involved in improving the lives of the people. This also provides you with an opportunity to do a charitable act by volunteering your time to come out and help the community by painting the walls with them. It will be a fun experience not only for you, but also for the community.
The painting of the structure will be an official media launch of the ‘Let’s Color’ project for Tanzania. It will initially be done by some special guests, personalities, media and the community joining in.
Dulux believes in the power of colour & its ‘Let’s Colour program’ is committed to make a positive difference in people’s lives in Tanzania.
We will confirm the final date to you closer to the period, but we can say for now that it will be a Sunday.
We will appreciate if you can confirm to us your support in the Let’s Color Project in relation to your time (maybe half a day) to volunteer to painting with the community.
Looking forward to a positive response.
Thank you!
Best Regards
